Joseph scores 30 as Toros roll to win

Cory Joseph scored a D-League sea­son-high 30 points to lead the Austin Toros past the Texas Leg­ends 110-97 Tuesday at Cedar Park Cen­ter.

Joseph, a 6-foot-3inch guard, has bounced back and forth be­tween the Toros and their par­ent NBA club, the San An­to­nio Spurs, this sea­son. The former Texas Longhorn made 3 of 4 three-point shots to boost Austin (6-3), which ral­lied from a 10-point deficit in the third quar­ter.

The Toros have won six of seven games in De­cem­ber. They will play back-to-back home games against Reno and Sioux Falls, re­spec­tively, on Fri­day and Satur­day nights.

Guard Justin Dent­mon added 22 points, five re­bounds and four as­sists for Austin while his team­mates Tyler Wik­ler­son and Pa­trick Sul­li­van both recorded dou­ble-dou­bles. Wilk­er­son fin­ished with 15 pints and 11 re­bounds, and Sul­li­van added 14 points and 13 boards.

Texas was lead by Chris Dou­glas-Roberts, who scored 24 points.
