Last week’s massacre of 20 children and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn., has reignited a national debate over gun control.

Shawn Smith: Armed guards at every school in the U.S. I would not mind a raise in taxes to get this done!

James Davis: Yeah Shawn, because being the only “advanced” country that actually needs armed guards at its schools will be something for Americans to be proud of. How do you explain the vast difference between us and the rest of the modern world when it comes the rate of this type event?

Jeff Williams: I think that those citizens who are trained and certified to carry a gun should be able to do so any- where so insane people don’t have easy targets.

Rob Turk: Too bad no one at the school was equipped with the means to resist him. He ended up taking his own life.

Howard Gomez: They were kids! So every school now needs to be fortified ?

Jeff Daniel: I obtained my CHL after Aurora. I imagine there are fellow citizens that will in the future say they received theirs after Newtown.

Michael Pfaff: If not guns he would of used something else.
