USTA reinstates ref accused of murder

Tennis referee Lois Goodman, whose career was almost ended by a charge that she murdered her husband with a coffee cup, has been reinstated by the U.S. Tennis Association after the charge was dismissed for lack of evidence.

Goodman, suspended in August prior to the U.S. Open, can resume judging matches in 2013.
