tax assessor to be sworn in Jan. 2

Bruce Elfant will be sworn in as Travis County tax assessor-collector and voter registrar at noon Wednesday, Jan. 2. The ceremony will be held at 5501 Airport Boulevard in Austin. Guests should follow signs to the north entrance of the building on the second floor.

The ceremony and reception are open to the public.
