Christmas tree fire kills man, 87

An 87-year-old man died after a Christmas tree went up in flames that then swept through a suburban Dallas home Monday evening. Four other people escaped the home unharmed.

The identity of the man, who was visiting his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, was not released. The cause of the fire is under investigation. senger walked away unharmed.

People on the ground, including three young boys who were playing in their backyard when the plane came crashing through trees, also were not hurt, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
