Woman, daughter shot to death

A 35-year-old woman and her 13-year-old daughter were shot to death Monday evening, and the mother’s ex-boyfriend told relatives he had taken care of “unfinished business,” according to police.

The ex-boyfriend was detained and will be charged with murder, Houston police said.
