Perine: Perine followed up a solid sophomore season (1,500 yards, 11 TDs) with an even better junior one. The District 16-5A MVP, he averaged 8.2 yards per carry as in its first season at the Class 5A level, Hendrickson beat out preseason favorites Westwood and Pflugerville for the District 16-5A title.
