Police name year’s top employees at gala

The Lakeway Police Department and the Lakeway Police Memorial Foundation celebrated the holidays in style at the 2012 Lakeway Police Gala on Dec. 13 at Lakeway Resort and Spa.

A sold-out crowd saluted the department’s top officers and civilians as Chief Todd Radford presented awards to a staff that has answered an estimated 20,000 calls for service so far this year.

Executive assistant Nicole Sooter, who has worked in the department for more than 10 years, earned its Employee of the Year honor.

Officer Joel Fischetti, who has been with the department for 17 months, earned Officer of the Year honors.
