Women Painting Women started as a small blog in 2009, and it’s since grown into a community of female artists freely defining how they view themselves through art. Seven of the artists in “Women Painting Women: Texas” are from Austin, including exhibit organizer Felice House. There will be a free artist reception on June 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. Opens Friday. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Free. 816 S.
