Library to kick off summer events
The Buda Public Library will launch its summer programs with a kickoff party Thursday.
The celebration will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Buda City Park, 204 San Antonio Road, and will include craft booths, face painting, balloon crafts, train rides and more.
Attendees can also pick up a free summer reading club T-shirt while they last.
The Summer at the Library program offers activities for children and teens. This year’s theme is Every Hero Has a Story. In addition to weekly storytimes for toddlers and preschool children, there will be weekly programs for children in kindergarten through high school, and summer reading clubs.
Registration for the weekly summer programs that will take place in June is underway and can be completed online at budalibrary. org/227/Weekly-Summer-Programs.
