Kapow! D’oh! A visit with some vintage toys

Travelers at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport can examine some vintage finds at the “20th Century Toys”exhibit, which is scheduled to run through Aug. 4. The exhibit includes a Kewpie doll from 1925, a Lionel steam locomotive from the 1940s and“The Simpsons”dolls from 1991, all from the Austin Toy Museum, as well as Barbie dolls from the collection of Rebecca Chulew. The displays, located past security checkpoints on the concourse between Gates 7-11, are accessible to ticketed passengers only. Above left: Homer, Maggie, Marge, Lisa and Bart SImpson.
