A small plane made an emergency landing on Texas 71 Thursday afternoon, Texas Department of Public Safety said.
The plane landed on Texas 71 near the intersection with U.S. 281 around 1:50 p.m. and caught fire after touching ground, DPS said. The pilot, who was the only passenger, was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with minor injuries, DPS said.
