A woman who worked in the Williamson County clerk’s office is charged in a drug case.

A former employee of the Williamson County district clerk’s office and the man she lives with have been charged with drug dealing after Williamson County deputies found marijuana and crack and powder cocaine in their Georgetown home Thursday, an arrest affidavit said.

Elizabeth Janette Saucedo, 26, and Tettus Jermaine Davis, 36, are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.

Saucedo had been working as an information specialist with the district clerk’s office since July 2012, said Fred Thomas, a sheriff ’s spokesman. She was fired Friday.

She answered phones and did data entry work, said Lisa David, the Williamson County district clerk. Saucedo was one of two information specialists at the office, David said.

Davis worked for a lawn service, according to the sheriff ’s office.

He has been in and out of jail in Williamson County since the mid-1990s on a variety of charges, according to court records.

Those charges include possession of marijuana and delivery of a controlled substance.

He was in the Williamson County Jail from October 2013 to August 2014 for a parole violation and evading arrest, according to court records.

Investigators requested a search warrant after receiving several tips that Davis was selling drugs from the house

where the couple lived at 911 E. 22nd St. in Georgetown, the sheriff ’s office said.

The house is within 1,000 feet of Purl Elementary School.

Deputies searched the residence Thursday and seized 71 grams of crack cocaine, 39 grams of powder cocaine and 14 ounces of marijuana from the couple’s bedroom, according to the sheriff ’s office.

Authorities also found two sealed bags of marijuana in a chest of drawers and two plastic bags of marijuana in a small safe, the affidavit said.

Three bags of marijuana were discovered on top of a pair of women’s shoes in the bedroom, the affidavit said.

Davis was living with Saucedo, her four children and several other members of Saucedo’s family, the news release said. Both Saucedo and Davis were in jail Friday. Bail was set at $50,000 for Saucedo and $60,000 for Davis.
