■ “Super Mario Maker.” In this sandbox game from Nintendo, players can edit and create their own levels from games including “Super Mario Bros.,” “Super Mario Bros. 3,” “Super Mario World” and “New Super Mario Bros. U.,” then play through them. It uses the Wii U gamepad’s touch controls and includes lots of minigames and surprises. Rated E for Everyone. $60 for Nintendo Wii U.

■ “Tearaway Unfolded.” A follow up to the late 2013 indie critical darling for the PlayStatio­n Vita, this version for the PlayStatio­n 4 set in a paper world makes special use of the DualShock 4 controller, allowing players to use it like a torch and to play catch with the TV. Rated E for Everyone. $40, for PS4.

Utopia Fest After-Party at the Parish. Utopia Fest is one of the area’s coolest late-summer festivals, but it’s a long haul of three-plus hours out to the event in the sticks west of San Antonio. If you couldn’t make it out to the seventh annual Labor Day Weekend event featuring headliners Tune-Yards, Charles Bradley and the like, it’s a short trip to the Parish for this after-party with middle-tier festival acts the Sheepdogs, Les Hay Babies and the Deer. $10-$12. 9 p.m. Tuesday. 214 E. ■ Loverboy at ColdTowne Theater. Hot off a sold-out run of comedic performanc­es in June and July, Loverboy begins its tenure Wednesday as ColdTowne Theater’s newest house troupe; performanc­es from the all-female cast will become a Wednesday night tradition. Loverboy, which includes up-and-coming local comedians including Chelsea Bunn, Cene Hale, Kim Lowery and others, draws its inspiratio­n from dating and relationsh­ip stories, hosting a different guest storytelle­r each week. 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays. $5. 4803 Airport Blvd. coldtownet­heater.com.

■ Frank Warren of PostSecret. After 10 years and hundreds of thousands of secrets, Frank Warren knows a little bit about a lot of strangers. He’s the founder of the PostSecret Project, a growing collection of artful secrets that are mailed to his home on postcards, and he’s seen the project benefit others in a major way. More than 4 million people visit the PostSecret website, which has helped raise money for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
