Confident plays

-

Andrew Luck, Colts QB: He hasn’t been worthy of where he was most likely drafted in fantasy leagues, throwing just five touchdown passes to go along with seven interceptions in his first three games. But after missing two games because of a shoulder injury he played very well against the Patriots last week. This week he gets to face the Saints, and they’re ranked 30th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks.

Latavius Murray, Raiders RB: The bye came at a perfect time, letting him recover from a shoulder injury. He’s had two straight poor games, but he faces a Chargers defense that is deficient against the run. San Diego gives up a whopping 5.4 yards per carry. That’s the worst mark in the league by nearly half a yard.

Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals WR: He should be good to go Sunday, despite being given a day off Thursday by head coach Bruce Arians. The Ravens have given up more than 300 yards passing per game and 11 touchdowns through the air, nine of which have gone to wide receivers. Fitzgerald hasn’t had a bad game all season, and this is a great matchup for him.

Todd Gurley, Rams RB: The rookie busted out in Week 4 and ended up rushing for 305 yards in two weeks before last week’s bye. He gets to face the Browns, who are last in points allowed to running backs. Gurley should have a huge day, given his recent performances and the extra week to prepare. He’ll probably score his first touchdown as a pro this weekend.
