Week 7 saw another big injury, this time to Arian Foster, as well as big numbers from the resurgent Miami Dolphins and stellar performances from a couple of rookies.

Here’s the Week 7 recap and waiver wire suggestions for Week 8:

PICK ’EM UP

Orleans Darkwa, Giants RB: He killed the Cowboys with just a few touches, averaging 6 yards per carry and scoring a touchdown. He rushed for 48 yards but should get more touches after Sunday’s performance.

Darren McFadden, Cowboys RB: Looking healthy, McFadden had his first 100-yard rushing game since 2013. Adding him is risky, but if you’re still looking for quality bye week players, you could do worse. He had 152 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Nate Washington, Texans WR: He had 127 yards and two touchdowns, mostly in garbage time, but that’s the beauty of fantasy football: Those points still count.

Michael Hoomanawanui, Saints TE: The tight end spot has done well in the past few weeks for the Saints. This week Hoomanawanui benefited most, catching five passes for 31 yards and a score.

Alfred Blue, Texans RB: With Foster out, Blue will be the one to benefit. He rushed for 139 yards and a TD the last time he was featured.

HOW’D THEY DO?

A look at how last week’s pickup suggestions fared:

Martavis Bryant, Steelers WR: He continued to score, catching three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown. He has 11 touchdowns in 12 career games.

Stefon Diggs, Vikings WR: Turning into a playmaker quickly, he caught six passes for 108 yards and a TD.

Blake Bortles, Jaguars QB: He wasn’t bad, but he wasn’t very good either, throwing for 182 yards, two scores and a pick.

Charles Sims, Buccaneers RB: We suggested him two weeks ago, before his bye, but he disappointed. He had 12 touches for 56 yards, but he also fumbled.

WEEK 7 WINNERS

Quarterbacks: Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins (282 yards/4 TDs); Kirk Cousins, Redskins (317/3/15 yards rushing/1 rushing TD); Tom Brady, Patriots (355/2/15/1); Andrew Luck, Colts (333/3/27); Phillip Rivers, Chargers (336/3); Derek Carr, Raiders (289/3)

Running backs: Lamar Miller, Dolphins (175 /1/61 yards receiving/1 receiving TD); Todd Gurley, Rams (128/2/35); Arian Foster, Texans (59/1/66/1); Mark Ingram, Saints (143/1); Danny Woodhead, Chargers (26/0/75/2); Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks (122/1); Charcandrick West, Chiefs (110/1/19); Ryan Mathews, Eagles (97/1/24); T.J. Yeldon, Jaguars (115/1); Doug Martin, Buccaneers (136/0/35)

Wide receivers: T.Y. Hilton, Colts (150/2); Mike Evans, Buccaneers (164/1); Amari Cooper, Raiders (133/1); Jarvis Landry, Dolphins (83/2); Allen Robinson, Jaguars (98/1); Rishard Matthews, Dolphins (75/1); Julio Jones, Falcons (92/1)

Tight ends: Jordan Reed, Redskins (72/2); Rob Gronkowski, Patriots (108/1); Ladarius Green, Chargers (45/1/2 twopoint conversions); Eric Ebron, Lions (89/1); Gary Barnidge, Browns (101)

WEEK 7 LOSERS

Eli Manning, Giants QB: Only 170 yards passing and no scores made for a bad fantasy day.

Josh McCown, Browns QB: He threw for 270 yards and no scores, and lost two fumbles.

LeGarrette Blount, Patriots RB: Blount went backward for minus-3 yards on three carries. We warned you on this one.

Rashad Jennings, Giants RB: With just five carries for 19 yards, it looks as if he’s falling out of favor in New York.

Melvin Gordon, Chargers RB: For the second straight week he rushed for 29 yards on just seven carries.

Alfred Morris, Redskins RB: Matt Jones is getting most of the carries now. Morris finished with 5 yards on six attempts.

Vincent Jackson, Buccaneers WR: He had his second bad start in a row, catching just one pass for 13 yards.

Odell Beckham, Giants WR: His team won, but he might have lost some games for his owners, catching four passes for 35 yards.

Jordan Matthews, Eagles WR: Caught three passes for just 14 yards.
