The New Orleans Zephyrs rallied for two runs in the bottom of the ninth to edge the Round Rock Express 5-4 and clinch the five-game series Sunday afternoon in New Orleans.

The Zephyrs (67-67) came back from a 4-0 deficit with a three-run rally in the fourth and tied it in the ninth on a wild pitch by Jose Leclerc. Following the wild pitch, Cole Figueroa hit a walk-off single. It was Leclerc’s fourth blown save of the season.

Drew Robinson went 3 for 5 for the Express and led the game off with a home run off former Houston Astros pitcher Asher Wojciechowski. Robinson has hit at a .500 clip over his past four games.

Jared Hoying hit a solo homer off Wojciechowski in the second inning and Doug Bernier followed with a single. He moved to second on a groundout and scored when Preston Beck hit a ball that was mishandled by Wojciechowski.

Beck put Round Rock ahead by four in the fourth when he drove in Bernier with a single. Wojciechowski lasted five innings and allowed four runs on ten hits.

The Zephyrs rallied for three runs in the fourth to get within a run. Matt Juengel hit a solo home run off Austin BibensDirkx and Issac Galloway hit a two-run double with two outs.

Leclerc gave up a lead off double in the ninth and then walked a batter. Following a strikeout, a groundout put the tying run on third. With two strikes, Figueroa hit a line drive to right field.

Late Saturday: Tomas Telis drove in three runs and New Orleans snapped a two-game losing streak against Round Rock with a 5-2 win Saturday.

Telis went 2 for 4 against his former club and is on an eightgame hit streak. He gave the Zephyrs the lead when he hit a two-run double off Round Rock’s Victor Payano with two outs in the first inning. Austin Nola pushed the lead to three with a solo homer in the fourth inning. Payano allowed four runs on just two hits through five innings.

New Orleans starter Chris Narveson didn’t allow a hit through three innings and was replaced with Greg Nappo in the fourth. Drew Robinson hit an RBI single in the fifth and the Express got within one when Matt Duffy hit a solo homer in the sixth. Round Rock scored two runs off Nappo on six hits through 3⅔ innings.
