Coun­try su­per­star Garth Brooks de­liv­ers a key­note at 2 p.m. at the Austin Con­ven­tion Cen­ter. A twist late Wed­nes­day: A “very spe­cial press con­fer­ence” with Brooks at 11 a.m. Fri­day was an­nounced. A Brooks per­for­mance? The re­turn of Chris Gaines? Stay tuned.

2 TRIB­UTE TO A FRIEND: CEL­E­BRAT­ING PRINCE:

band, the Rev­o­lu­tion, pay trib­ute to the Min­neapo­lis mu­sic icon. If we’re lucky, one of the spe­cial guests will be Lizzo, who de­stroyed a cover of the “Beau­ti­ful Ones” at his home­town me­mo­rial the day Prince died.
