St. Pa­trick’s Day may have its roots in Chris­tian­ity, but mod­ern so­ci­ety has turned it into a cel­e­bra­tion of Ir­ish roots, green beer, green clothes and well, green ev­ery­thing. Here are some of the places where you can cel­e­brate in Austin. St. Pa­trick’s Day at Fado Ir­ish Pub. Cel­e­brate at Austin’s big­gest St. Pa­trick’s Day party.It­start­sat11a.m.,and tick­ets are $15. Fado Ir­ish Pub & Restau­rant, 214 W. Fourth St. Scoot x St. Paddy’s. Check out live mu­sic at the Scoot Inn with Low Cut Connie, Night Drive, Mana­tee Com­mune, Sweet Crude, Black Eyed Ver­mil­lion and more. Food and drink at five lo­ca­tions in Bas­trop, in­clud­ing sam­pling tra­di­tional Ir­ish drinks.
