Zay Jones didn’t have to wait long Friday night to be snatched in the NFL draft.

The former Austin High star was chosen fifth in the second round by the Buffalo Bills, who traded up with the Los Angeles Rams to grab the record-setting wide receiver from a famous football family.

Dealing was en vogue at the top of round two as the first five players were acquired in trades. Jones smashed FBS records with 399 career catches at East Carolina, and 158 last season. Pro Football Focus reported that Jones dropped only six of 164 catchable passes in 2016.
