Mall of America marks 25 years

The biggest mall in the United States celebrated its 25th anniversary Friday with a record-setting attempt involving cupcakes and party hats.

The 5.6 million square-foot Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., has more than 520 stores and 11,000 employees. Its attractions include an amusement park, an aquarium, an indoor zip line and a mirror maze.
