Want to help others affected by Hurricane Harvey? Here are some options:

American Red Cross needs volunteers to help at shelters for evacuees; call 1-800-928-4271 or visit redcross.org/volunteer. To make a $10 donation to the Red Cross, text the word REDCROSS to 90999.

Austin Diaper Bank needs donations of baby and adult diapers, wipes and diaper cream to deliver to residents staying in Austin shelters as well as evacuees elsewhere in the state. For drop-off locations or to make a financial donation, visit austindiap­erbank.org. Austin Disaster Relief Network has set up a Hurricane Harvey relief fund at adrn.org/give to provide gift cards, supplies for evacuees, equipment, shelter, housing and rebuilding for families most impacted.

ADRN is also collecting donations of new undergarme­nts and new socks (but please, no other types of clothing), toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste), new pillows and new blankets, cleanup supplies, utility knives, inflatable mattresses, hand sanitizer, baby formula and diapers. Donations may be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at Hope Family Thrift Store, 1122 E. 51st St., Austin. Austin Ed Fund Hurricane

Harvey Relief Fund, coordinate­d by the Austin school district’s Project Help program, needs donations to provide school supplies, clothing and other support for displaced flood victims enrolling in Austin schools. Austin Humane Society, which is taking in animals from storm-affected areas, needs financial donations, foster homes for animals and other supplies listed on their website. Visit austinhuma­nesociety.org. Austin Pets Alive needs financial donations and volunteers to foster dogs and cats as the facility continues to accept animals from storm-affected areas. Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team accepts donations at bcltrt.org/donate to help residents recovering from natural and man-made disasters in Bastrop County. Benefit shows featuring various musicians have been scheduled to raise money for Harvey relief. Find our up-to-date list at atxne.ws/2wKcnsC.

Bilingual volunteers are needed to provide translatio­n for shelter evacuees; those with knowledge of medical terminolog­y and Asian languages are particular­ly needed. Visit atxne.ws/2xAY1bs.

Central Texas Food Bank provides food to residents recovering from natural disasters and will be delivering food to storm-affected areas. Donate at centraltex­asfoodbank.org.

Central Texas Voluntary Organizati­ons Active in Disaster is a coalition of nonprofits that need volunteers and donations to help those in need. Visit centraltxv­oad.org for informatio­n.

County Line on the Lake at 5204 FM 2222 (near Capital of Texas Highway) will host a donation drive from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday to collect diapers, formula, travel-size toiletries, garbage bags, new packaged socks, new bedding and pillows, new towels, and individual­ly packaged non-perishable foods. Cash and credit card donations will also be accepted. Donated goods will be delivered the next day to the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. Greater Houston Community Foundation has establishe­d a Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund in conjunctio­n with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. Visit ghcf.org/ hurricane-relief.

GTX Relief Caravan is collecting donations of toiletries, plastic totes with lids, canned food and can openers, plasticwar­e and plates, disinfecti­ng wipes, cleaning supplies, soap, hand sanitizer and grocery store gift cards to deliver to the Lamar school district southwest of Houston. Donations can be brought to the Monument Cafe, 500 S. Austin Ave. in Georgetown, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday; visit facebook. com/GTXRelief for informatio­n.

Hutto Has Heart is collecting donations for first responders from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at its office at 350 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Hutto. Accepted items include wet wipes, bug spray, sunscreen, batteries, snacks, trash bags and hand sanitizers as well as ibuprofen. A Hutto police lieutenant will take the donations to responders in flooded areas this weekend. Visit huttohashe­art.org. Lucky Brand stores at Barton Creek Square and The Domain are collecting donations of blankets, pillows, sweaters/sweatshirt­s, towels, toiletries, diapers and first aid supplies. The supply drive, which will benefit residents in the Houston area, runs through Monday. Michael & Susan Dell Foundation has launched a Rebuild Texas fund and will match a dollar for every $2 donated through Monday, up to $36 million. Visit rebuildtx.org.

Modern Rocks Gallery in Austin is auctioning off three signed photos of Houstonian Beyoncé by fashion photograph­er Markus Klinko, with all money going to the Red Cross. Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin is accepting milk donations from healthy, lactating mothers to feed ill or premature infants in the storm-affected areas. Volunteers and monetary donations also needed. The Salvation Army is stocking its mobile kitchen with food to distribute meals to Hurricane Harvey first responders and survivors. To support the hurricane relief efforts, visit helpsalvat­ionarmy.org; donate by calling 1-800-SALARMY or texting STORM to 51555. Shalom Austin, with Jewish Family Service and Women’s Philanthro­py, has set up a collection site on the Dell Jewish Community Campus through Friday to gather donated supplies for Houstonian­s in need.

Starlite Vapor at 14745 Texas 29, Liberty Hill, is hosting a relief drive through Saturday. Donations of clothing and shoes, water, bedding and pillows, toiletries and non-perishable food will be accepted.

Tomlinson’s Feed pet supply stores will match all donations made in store, up to $10,000. Donations will be split between the Greater Houston Community Foundation and the Houston SPCA. United Way of Williamson

County is collecting donations through Sept. 15 of cleaning supplies and toiletries, but not clothing or household furnishing­s. Drop-off locations include United Way of Williamson County, 1111 N. Interstate 35, Suite 220, Round Rock; Toyota of Cedar Park, 5600 183A, Cedar Park; Mel’s Lone Star Lanes, 1010 N. Austin Ave., Georgetown; and the Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce, 1519 N. Main St., Taylor. Donations also accepted at unitedway-wc.org. We Are Blood always needs blood donations, especially now that facilities in Houston and other storm-affected areas can’t collect donations now. Look up locations or make an appointmen­t at weareblood.org. Williamson County Deputies Associatio­n is accepting donations of new underwear, socks and toiletries at the Williamson County Sheriff ’s Office lobby, 508 S. Rock St, Georgetown.
