American Red Cross needs volunteers to help at shelters for evacuees; call 1-800-928-4271 or visit redcross.org/volunteer. To make a $10 donation to the Red Cross, text the word REDCROSS to 90999. Austin Community College and six other educationa­l organizati­ons have launched the Harvey HELP Fund, a crowd- sourced relief fund to aid the close to 500,000 college students impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Donate at GoFundMe.com/HarveyHELP­Students. Austin Diaper Bank needs donations of baby and adult diapers, wipes and diaper cream to deliver to residents staying in Austin shelters as well as evacuees elsewhere in the state. For drop-off locations or to make a financial donation, visit austindiap­erbank.org. Austin Disaster Relief Network has set up a Hurricane Harvey relief fund at adrn.org/give to provide gift cards, supplies for evacuees, equipment, shelter, housing and rebuilding for families most impacted.

ADRN is also collecting donations of new undergarme­nts and new socks (but please no other types of clothing), toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste), new pillows and new blankets, cleanup supplies, utility knives, inflatable mattresses, hand sanitizer, baby formula and diapers. Donations may be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at Hope Family Thrift Store, 1122 E 51st St., Austin.

school district’s Project Help program, needs donations to provide school supplies, clothing and other support for displaced flood victims enrolling in Austin schools. Austin Humane Society, which is taking in animals from storm-affected areas, needs financial donations, foster homes for animals and other supplies listed on

their website. Visit austin humanesoci­ety.org. Austin Pets Alive needs financial donations and volunteers to foster dogs and cats as the nonprofit continues to help animals in storm-affected areas. Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team accepts donations at bcltrt. org/donate to help residents recovering from natural and man-made disasters in Bas- trop County. Catholic Charities of Central Texas is accepting volunteers and dona- tions at ccctx.org to help people displaced by Harvey. Gift cards of $25 or $50 from Walmart or H-E-B are particular­ly helpful so families can buy the items they most need. Coastal Bend Disaster Recovery Group accepts donations at bit.ly/2vKBJC1 to help with recovery and rebuilding efforts in the greater Corpus Christi and Port Aransas area.
