2018 Cadillac CT6 takes driving to next level
Founded in March of 1902 during a tumultuous restructuring of the Ford Motor Company in the wake of Henry Ford’s exit, an American icon of luxury and sophistication was born. Brought in to salvage the manufacturing, engineer Henry M. Leland created a the new Cadillac Automobile Company by utilizing his designs for a single cylinder engine. After a merger and name change to the Cadillac Motor Company in 1905, the manufacturer was acquired by General Motors in 1909 where it has remained a division to this day.
In January 2016, over 100 years since the first Cadillac drove onto the scene, the company debuted the CT6 sedan, its first rear wheel drive model in 20 years.
