Kody Clemens has earned a spot on three more All-America teams, adding to his spots on the Collegiate Baseball and Baseball America teams.

D1Baseball.com, NCBWA and Perfect Game/Rawlings all named the junior second baseman to their All-America teams.

Clemens had an outstanding Super Regional series against Tennessee Tech in which he went 5-for-8 with a home run in each game and four RBIs.

Clemens has hit 24 home runs, trailing Kyle Russell’s 28 in 2007 for the most in a single season in school history.

He is a third-round draft pick of the Detroit Tigers and won the Big 12 Player of the Year award. Clemens is also a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award and the Dick Howser Trophy.

Men’s golf: Doug Ghim and Scottie Scheffler earned spots on the Golfweek All-American team, Golfweek announced this week.

Ghim earned a spot on the first team while Scheffler made it on the third team.

Ghim had a 69.66 stroke average in his senior season. In ten events he finished outside the top 18 just once. Ghim was the Ben Hogan Award winner and made the PING All-America first team.

Scheffler’s stroke average of 70.45 led him to six finishes in the top 11. He shot in the 60s in eight rounds this season.

Ghim will join three other former Longhorns at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills beginning Thursday. Dylan Frittelli (2009-12), Jordan Spieth (2012) and Jhonattan Vegas (2004-07) are also competing.
