Texas divers won a gold medal and three bronzes Sunday on the final day of the FINA Diving Grand Prix in Madrid.

Senior-to-be Murphy Bromberg totaled 362.10 points to top the field in the 10-meter finals. She improved from third in the prelims to second in the semifinals to first in the finals.

Alison Gibson, an Austin native who just finished her freshman year, teamed with Krysta Palmer to earn bronze in the 3-meter synchro.

On the men’s side, juniorto-be Grayson Campbell paired with Greg Duncan for third in the 3-meter synchro, and Jacob Cornish, who also will be a junior this fall, partnered with Zachary Cooper to earn 308.94 points in the 10-meter synchro.

It’s the second week in a row that the Longhorns won four medals in the FINA competition. Last week Gibson’s gold topped the haul, which included two silvers and a bronze.

Though the tour has one more stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in November, this was the final competition of the season for the UT divers.

Women’s golf: Former Texas golfer Haley Mills tied for eighth place Saturday in the Donald Ross Classic at French Lick, Ind.

It was the first career top10 finish on the Symetra Tour for Mills, who finished her two years at UT in the spring of 2017.

The Tyler native shot a 7-under-par 206 on the par71 French Lick Resort course.
