Dec. 6, 2015: Police say the string of attacks began when Nicodemo Coria-Gonzalez sexually assaulted a woman. No other details on the attack are available in court records.

Dec. 19, 2015: A woman who had agreed to have sex with a man told police he punched her several times in the face and choked her with both hands around the throat. She added the man left the scene at 10401 Sprinkle Road with her purse.

April 11, 2016: In a case that had been set to go to trial this week, a woman said she was threatened with a knife and sexually assaulted. No other details on the case are available in court documents. The judge declared a mistrial when a juror revealed he isn’t fluent in English and would’ve had trouble understand­ing legal terms.

May 15, 2016: A woman said she was threatened with a knife and sexually assaulted.

June 27, 2016: A woman told police she was at a bus stop in the 9400 block of Parkfield Drive and accepted a ride from a man to get cigarettes at a convenienc­e store. The man then drove them to a laundromat and stabbed her with a knife she had pulled out to protect herself, she said. Police got surveillan­ce video from the store and linked the car the woman arrived in to Coria-Gonzalez.

July 22, 2016: Police say Coria-Gonzalez picked up a woman from a bus stop and the two agreed to have sex. But when she changed her mind, Coria-Gonzalez took her to a grassy area where he doused her in gasoline, according to an affidavit. The woman managed to escape. July 23, 2016: A 68-year-old woman with a cane said she was sexually assaulted by a man who had agreed to drive her to the store. The woman said the man struck her several times with elbows and forearms.
