Ten candidates are vying for a place on the Leander school board.

Four of seven at-large board seats are contested on the Nov. 6 ballot.

Those elected will serve threeyear terms for no pay and will oversee the district’s continued fast growth, as 1,100 new students are projected to enroll each year.
