■ Hannibal Buress at ACL Live. Yes, that Hannibal Buress. The comic whose onstage ad lib started the domino fall of Bill Cosby; the comic who earn ed cult status on Comedy Central’s “Broad City” and Adult Swim’s “Eric Andre Show.” Yes, that’s his real name. In the Six Degrees of Austin Comedy game, he also appeared in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” with longtime Austinite Martha Kelly. ■ “Million Dollar Quartet.” Four young musicians — Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash — came together during an impromptu jam session in 1956. ■ Austin Symphony Orchestra’s season opener: “The Mighty Russians, Part III.” The Austin Symphony opens the new season of instrument­al music with pieces by three prominent Russian composers — Alexander Glazunov, Sergei Rachmanino­ff and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsk­y. Symphony newcomer Lise de la Salle, a talented pianist, will make her debut with Rachmanino­ff ’s beloved “Piano Concerto No. 1.” And Tchaikovsk­y’s beloved “Manfred Symphony” is both powerful and dramatic, a perfect ending for the season op ener.8p.m. Sept 14-15. $19-$75. ■ Celis Oktoberfes­t. Sure, sure, Celis Brewery specialize­s in Belgian-style ales, and Oktoberfes­t is traditiona­lly a German thing.
