Medics: Man in his 20s shot and killed

A man died Tuesday after a shooting in North Austin, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

Medics responded to the incident in the 1500 block of East Parmer Lane around 3 p.m. and found a man in his 20s dead from a gunshot wound, officials said.

Austin police confirmed that they received reports of a shooting or stabbing around 2:57 p.m. at an apartment complex in the area. It was unclear Tuesday afternoon whether anyone had been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
