TexHahn Media buys White Lion Interactiv­e

A Central Texas advertisin­g, marketing and interactiv­e firm has made its second acquisitio­n in less than a month.

TexHahn Media said Tuesday that it bought Austin-based White Lion Interactiv­e. Financial terms of the acquisitio­n were not disclosed.

White Lion, which had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, was acquired in a competitiv­e auction conducted by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. The firm entered bankruptcy, TexHahn Media said, after a protracted contractua­l dispute with a former client.

“We’re recommendi­ng an array of digital solutions to our clients including artificial intelligen­ce-enabled programmat­ic paid campaigns, search engine optimizati­on, social acquisitio­n programs and digital newsrooms,” Jeff Hahn, principal of TexHahn Media, said in a written statement. “White Lion’s expertise makes it possible for us to activate complex digital strategies at a much faster pace for clients so they can stay ahead of changes in their respective markets.”

In a separate transactio­n, TexHahn Media acquired Kristy Ozmun Public Relations earlier this month. That deal gave the company a total of 25 employees. With the White Lion Interactiv­e deal, that number grows to 39, working from TexHahn Media’s offices on Marathon Boulevard in Central Austin.

Clients TexHahn Media works with include Beef Loving Texans, Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas, Catellus’ Mueller developmen­t, Central Market, DPR Constructi­on, Longhorn Network, Lubbock Power & Light, Moody Foundation, NatureSwee­t, One Gas Corp., Propane Education & Research Council, St. David’s Foundation and Whataburge­r.
