Puppy Bowl: A Real Tail-Gate. Rescheduled from a rainy last weekend, this Trace at the W event is a pet-friendly tailgate before the UT football game against TCU. The restaurant will have an enclosed football field in Trace’s front yard. You can enter your puppy to play in the bowl for $5, with all proceeds benefiting Austin Animal Center. Like the Puppy Bowl during the Super Bowl, there will be multiple football-shaped toys on the turf; any dog that runs a toy into the end zone will score. 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Pop-Up Social at Juliet Italian Kitchen. The Barton Springs restaurant’s first Pop Up Social features a handful of local artists who have set up booths of their own art to sell during Juliet’s usual Saturday brunch. Attendees will receive one mimosa with the purchase of a ticket.
