■ Giants: Joe Panik hit a tiebreakin­g three-run homer in the ninth that sent the Giants to their seventh straight win, a 6-4 decision over the Rays. The NL West leaders are a season-high 17 games over .500. Logan Forsythe, Brad Miller, Evan Longoria and Logan Morrison hit solo home runs for the Rays.

■ Rangers: Ian Desmond’s sac fly capped a two-run ninth-inning rally as the Rangers overcame a late three-run deficit to beat the Cardinals 4-3. The Rangers have won five straight and won their franchise-record ninth consecutiv­e series. Jake Diekman got his second save in as many chances.

■ Diamondbac­ks: Zack Greinke won his seventh straight start, pitching three-hit ball for eight innings to beat the Phillies 4-1. Paul Goldschmid­t, Jake Lamb and Nick Ahmed homered to back Greinke (10-3), who struck out six and walked one.

■ Orioles: Jonathan Schoop went 3-for-4 with a home run and Yovani Gallardo came off the DL to allow two runs on five hits in five innings of a 4-2 win that ended the Blue Jays’ four-game winning streak . ... 3B Manny Machado dropped his appeal of a four-game suspension for charging the mound against the Royals.

■ Yankees: Jacoby Ellsbury’s two-run single broke a tie in the ninth and Alex Rodriguez hit his 695th home run in a 7-6 victory over the Twins, who led 4-0 in the seventh. Aroldis Chapman gave up back-to-back homers with two outs in the bottom on the ninth but held on for his 13th save in 14 chances.

■ Red Sox: Xander Bogaerts homered and singled, raising his AL-best batting average to .352, in a 6-2 win over the Mariners. Jackie Bradley Jr. homered, while Christian Vazquez and Mookie Betts each had two hits and an RBI. Adrian Sampson took the loss in his MLB debut.

■ Astros: George Springer’s RBI single in the 11th gave the Astros a 5-4 victory over the Reds. Reds LHP Cody Reed struck out nine in seven innings in his majorleagu­e debut. He allowed four runs on six hits.
