Playing in front of an announced 7,391, the fifthlarge­st crowd in Ludwig Field history, the No. 1 Maryland men’s soccer team (6-0-2, 3-0-1 Big Ten) got a goal from Jake Rozhansky in the 54th minute and an own goal in the 73rd to earn a 2-0 victory over visiting Michigan State (5-2, 2-1) on Friday night. Rozhansky’s goal came off a wild play. Chris Odoi-Atsem’s serve from the far corner was one-timed by Eryk Williamson from the near side of the box directly to Rozhansky, a transfer from Virginia, for the point-blank score. The own goal came in the 73rd minute.
