16-year-old charged in assault of city official

A 16-year-old has been charged as an adult in the assault and robbery of an assistant city health commission­er in downtown Baltimore earlier this month, Baltimore police said. Devonte Parker of the 4000 block of Annellen Road was charged with robbery, first- and second-degree assault, police said.
