OAKLAND, Calif. — Ryon Healy went deep twice for his third multihomer game in two weeks, Matt Joyce also hit a long ball and the Athletics beat the Yankees 5-2 on Saturday.

Austin Romine and Brett Gardner drove in runs for the Yanks, who have lost a seasonhigh five straight.

Masahiro Tanaka had an upand-down day while losing to the A’s for the second time this season. Tanaka struck out 10 but allowed five runs and eight hits, including three home runs, in four innings.

Dodgers: Yasiel Puig hit two of the Dodgers’ four home runs in a 10-2 victory over the Reds. Cody Bellinger had three hits, including his 19th homer, and drove in three runs. Joc Pederson homered for the second straight game as the Dodgers piled up seven extra-base hits. The Reds’ losing streak reached a season-high eight games.

Nationals: Trea Turner, Adam Lind and Jose Lobaton homered to back Stephen Strasburg in a 7-4 win over the Mets. Strasburg (8-2) permitted two runs on six hits in 51⁄3 innings. The Nats, 24-12 on the road, will seek a four-game sweep Sunday. Yoenis Cespedes homered and had four hits for the Mets.

“Mistakes,” Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. “A splitter that didn’t do what it’s supposed to, a slider that didn’t do what it’s supposed to, both of those to Healy.”

Healy hit a tying solo homer in the second, then put the A’s up with his 17th home run leading off the fourth. The slugger also had two home runs against the Nationals on June 3 and against the Blue Jays on June 5.

It was the fifth time this season that Healy, who singled in the seventh, has had three hits or more in a game.

“I still think it’s getting there,” Healy said. “I’m not satisfied

Rangers: Mike Napoli hit two home runs, connecting along with Rougned Odor and ShinSoo Choo in the sixth to power a 10-4 victory over the Mariners. The Rangers have won seven of eight. The Mariners lost their third in a row.

Orioles: Jonathan Schoop homered twice and drove in four, Manny Machado went deep in a seven-run second and the Orioles crushed the Cardinals 15-7. Adam Jones and Mark Trumbo also homered. Adam Wainwright (7-5) gave up nine runs on seven hits, including three home runs, in 12⁄3 innings, the shortest of his 268 career starts. The nine runs and three homers matched the most he’s allowed in any outing. with the consistency of it. There are things that I’m still not doing well enough on a day-to-day basis. Fortunately, I’m still able to go out and compete.”

Matt Joyce reached base five times, Jesse Hahn (3-4) pitched five innings to beat the Yankees for the first time in his career and Jed Lowrie had an RBI single. The A’s have won six of their last eight at home.

Khris Davis struck out four times for the A’s and heard some boos when he popped a ball up and began to walk to the dugout in the third. The wind-blown ball fell in fair territory, and Davis was easily retired.

Diamondbacks: Paul Goldschmidt’s two-run double boosted the D’backs over the Phillies 5-1 for their sixth straight victory. Their 43-26 record matches the best 69-game start in team history.

Rays: Chris Archer (5-4) struck out eight in six innings of a 3-2 win over the Tigers. Daniel Robertson drove in two runs and scored one . ... The Rays acquired IF Trevor Plouffe from the A’s for a player to be named or cash.

Rockies: Tony Wolters drove in two runs as the Rockies improved to 9-1 against the Giants with a 5-1 victory. Kyle Freeland (8-4) pitched with runners on base in every inning but held the Giants to one run and eight hits. 1950: In the nightcap of a doubleheader, the Indians scored 14 runs in the first inning for an American League record as they trounced the Philadelphia A’s 21-2. 1953: At Fenway Park, Dick Gernert’s home run highlighted the 17-run, 14-hit seventh inning as the Red Sox beat the Tigers 23-3. Gene Stephens collected three hits and Sammy White scored three runs in the big inning. Tom Umphlett also reached base three times in the inning. 2012: Aaron Hill hit a solo homer in the seventh inning to become the fifth Arizona player to hit for the cycle, lifting the Diamondbacks to a 7-1 win over the Mariners.
