Daniel Murphy had four RBIs. In his first appearance since Aug. 28, Homer Bailey allowed eight runs on six hits with three walks in 12⁄3 innings. The Reds have lost 13 of 14. ■ Orioles: Dylan Bundy gave up three runs in seven innings but helped the Orioles avoid a dubious pitching record in an 8-3 victory over the Rays. After being moved from SS to 2B, Asdrubal Cabrera asked the Mets to trade him. ■ Blue Jays: Closer Roberto Osuna said he is out of sorts mentally, feeling “anxious” and “weird.” He said he had never experienced this sensation. “I really don’t know how to explain it,” Osuna said. “I feel like I’m lost a little bit right now. This has nothing to do with me being on the field. I feel great physically. It’s just more mentally. I feel like I’m not myself right now.” Osuna has 19 saves this season and is the youngest player in history to record 75 saves. ■ Yankees: 1B Chris Carter was designated for assignment, and Tyler Austin was called up.
