Air Force pi­lot from An­napo­lis dies in crash

An Air Force pi­lot from An­napo­lis died last week when his plane crashed dur­ing a train­ing flight in Ne­vada. Lt. Col. Eric Schultz was fly­ing an un­spec­i­fied air­craft Tues­day evening over the Ne­vada Test and Train­ing Range, ap­prox­i­mately 100 miles north­west of Nel­lis Air Force Base, a spokes­woman at the air base said Fri­day. The crash re­mains un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion, and ad­di­tional de­tails were not im­me­di­ately avail­able. Schultz was a 1991 An­napo­lis High School grad­u­ate, and the son of Linda and Larry Schultz.
