Prior to last Christmas Day, the Ravens had defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in three consecutiv­e games. Overall, Pittsburgh owns a 22-20 advantage in the regular-season series.

But the Ravens have won five of the last six games played in Baltimore against the Steelers. The Ravens are aiming to open the season with a 3-0 mark in the division for the second year in a row and the fourth time under coach John Harbaugh. Pittsburgh is attempting to improve to 2-0 in the division for the first time since 2008.
