MADISON, WIS. — Alex Hornibrook changed the conversation with one clutch throw.

No. 5 Wisconsin is still undefeated in large part after its even-keeled quarterback shook off another groaninducing interception.

Hornibrook's 24-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Taylor in the third quarter broke open a defensive slugfest, Kendric Pryor scored on an endaround and the Badgers beat No. 24 Michigan 24-10 on Saturday.

Wisconsin (11-0, 8-0 Big Ten) padded its postseason resume by winning a grinding, physical matchup against the Wolverines (8-3, 5-3).

Hornibrook finished 9 of 19 for 143 yards, but bounced back from the turnover early in the third quarter with some of his best throws of the season.

“Sometimes adversity helps us play even harder and better. We were able to do that today,” Hornibrook said.

NO. 3 MIAMI 44, VIRGINIA 28: Malik Rosier threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score, and the host Hurricanes (10-0, 7-0 ACC) came back from being down by 14-points and pulled off their biggest comeback in five years. Miami extended the nation's longest winning streak to 15 games by beating the Cavaliers (6-5, 3-4).

NO. 1 ALABAMA 56, MERCER 0: Jalen Hurts passed for 180 yards and three touchdowns in a little more than a quarter and the host Crimson Tide (11-0) shut out the FCS Bears (5-6) with a precision performance in an obvious mismatch.

Mayfield had tried shaking hands with Daniel Wise, Dorance Armstrong Jr. and Joe Dineen Jr. after the coin toss, but they stared stoically back at him. Mayfield quickly pulled his hand away, clapped a couple of times and set about burnishing his Heisman Trophy candidacy.

At one point, Mayfield lewdly grabbed his crotch while cursing across the field, and another time he yelled to fans behind his bench: “You have one win! Go cheer on basketball!”

NO 6 AUBURN 42, LOUISIANAMONROE 14: Darius Slayton's 50-yard scoring catch late in the first half gave the host Tigers (9-2) the lead and pull away from the Warhawks (4-6). Aubrn will next host No. 1 Alabama. NO. 7 GEORGIA 42, KENTUCKY 13: Nick Chubb and Sony Michel combined for five touchdowns to lead a dominant running game and the host Bulldogs (10-1, 7-1 SEC) beat the Wildcats (7-4, 4-4).

Chubb rushed for 151 and two touchdowns, including a 55-yard burst down the sideline to seal the victory early in the fourth quarter . Michel rambled for 87 yards and three scores of his own, most notably a 37-yard TD that sent the Bulldogs into the half with a 21-6 lead.

NO. 10 PENN STATE 56, NEBRASKA 44: Saquon Barkley broke the school record for career touchdown record with three scores and had 208 of 224 total yards in the first half to lead the host Nittany Lions (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten) to their 18th win in 21 games. The Cornhuskers fell to 4-7, 3-5.

KANSAS STATE 45, NO 13 OKLAHOMA STATE 40: Byron Pringle caught three touchdown passes and returned a kickoff for another score to help visiting Wildcats (6-5, 4-4 Big 12) stun the Cowboys (8-3, 5-3).
