Pedestrian struck, killed

Baltimore police also responded to two shootings Saturday. About 10:35 a.m., police found a 39-yearold man with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body near the 1900 block of Druid Hill Ave. He was taken to an area hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition. About two hours later, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of Lyman Ave., where a man was suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatenin­g injuries. Citywide shooting detectives are investigat­ing both incidents. Police were called around 11:30 a.m. to the crash at East Joppa and Silver Spring roads. Police said the car Spaugh was driving hit a tree. A man was killed early Saturday morning after being hit by a car in Glen Burnie, according to the Anne Arundel Fire Department. The department tweeted that a man was struck by a car near I-97 North, in the area around Dorsey Road, around 6:15 a.m. Paramedics declared the man dead, and the driver remained at the scene. No additional informatio­n was immediatel­y available. The man is the third to die in a pedestrian crash in Anne Arundel County since mid-November. A 60-yearold man died after he was struck by a vehicle in Pasadena on Nov. 15. A 51-year-old man was killed in Maryland City earlier that week, after he was struck by a car on Route 198.
