Anne “Nancy” Jenkins Gans Kayarian, 92, of Williamspo­rt, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Born July 17, 1931, in Baltimore, Md., Nancy was a daughter of the late Hilary and Rosalie (O’Donovan) Gans, and she married Jacques Kayarian in April 1960. After 26 years of marriage, Nancy was predecease­d by her husband.

An authentic free spirit, Nancy was a passionate friend, mother, grandmothe­r, and great-grandmothe­r who cherished spending time with her family and saw beauty in everyone and everything. Highly social and adventurou­s, she was a natural artist and art historian who played competitiv­e bridge and tennis and completed the most challengin­g New York Times crossword puzzles. Nancy also loved cats and was an active member of several groups including the A.A.U.W., Real Estate Commission, and Bald Eagle Art League.

Nancy is survived by her son, Hilary Kayarian of Williamspo­rt, Pa.; her daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Vincent Siefert of Naugatuck, Conn.; four grandchild­ren, Alyssa Jarvi, Jacqueline Cushing, Angela Siefert, and Madeline Siefert; four great-grandchild­ren, Remington Cushing, Alexandru Mosteanu, Naomi Jarvi, and Arthur Jarvi; a brother, Edgar Gans of Baltimore, Md.; and a sister, Edith Salisbury of Baltimore, Md.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenienc­e of the family.
