Clinton and Trump: Only bad choices

- John Ogden, Severn

OK folks, calm down. We are electing a president, not a pope. Well, that’s what I’ve started telling myself while contemplating whom to vote for this election year. I mean people who get to the top level in business or government are ruthless liars willing to do anything to succeed (“It’s Hillary Clinton’s show, but Trump does his best to steal the spotlight,” July 27).

In this election, we have a top-level businessman who looks you right in the eye, tells you he is going to stab you in the back and then stabs you in the back. When you accuse him of stabbing you in the back, he cusses you out and threatens to stab you in the back again.

On the other hand, we have a top-level politician who says she will not stab you in the back, then stabs you in the back. When you accuse her of stabbing you in the back, she takes out the knife and throws it away and denies stabbing you in the back.

Either way, you got this gaping hole in your back.

God bless America!
