The Turf Festival, to be run Sept. 10, will feature five of Laurel’s 32 fall stakes races. The fall schedule includes five Super Saturdays with four or more stakes races including Commonweal­th Day Sept. 24 featuring three graded races: the $ 200,000 Commonweal­th Derby ( G2), the $200,000 Commonweal­th Turf Cup (G2) and the $150,000 Commonweal­th Oaks (G3). MEDIA: Nearly three months after Tony Kornheiser told listeners that he was leaving Washington radio after 24 years to launch a podcast, the details of the next iteration of “The Tony Kornheiser Show” have been announced. In a twominute preview of the Sept. 6 relaunch posted on iTunes, Kornheiser said that new episodes of his daily podcast will be available at 11 a.m. Monday through Friday. —
