Turn the other cheek and keep your temper in check. It may be tempting to be drawn into a conflict during the next few days, but you would be better served to just walk away.

Fixity of purpose breeds success. It is easy to become totally immersed in a project or key business venture to the exclusion of all else. Unflagging ambitions can whip you into high gear.

Have a purpose and follow a plan. Know what it is that you don’t know so you can master the right skills. It is far better to remain quiet and learn what is expected than to voice an opinion.

Create a cozy haven for yourself and your loved ones. Your finely trained eye knows just how to arrange the furniture to make an inviting picture. You know how to make the best use of space.

Grow a thick skin. You may be thrown into contact with people who are experts at what they do but callous about how they do it. Work toward achieving a worthy goal without stepping on anyone’s toes.

Invest in something small that will delight the eye and warm the heart. You won’t want to make a major expenditure during the next several days, but you can still benefit from good taste.

Empathy and understanding can raise a relationship to a new level. Remember to give hugs and a pat on the back to the people who deserve them, as that can turn the tide. Real love might be in the stars. If you play dodgeball with a problem, you risk taking a hit. It might stretch you to the limits of your endurance to take care of financial responsibilities. Face up to necessities calmly.

Slow down. The rush to conquer the world can cause you to make missteps. Confrontations could escalate into a permanent misunderstanding, so remain even-tempered and considerate.

A smile just takes a second to share. You may become so wrapped up in your own busy little world that you forget to come up for air. Don’t neglect loved ones or forget to be kind.

Put your pennies in the penny jar. This is a time to save money rather than to spend. Rote memorization can help you stay on top of the rules, but it won’t teach you how to think.

Sometimes the best statement is left unspoken. You could sell a product by exalting its virtues, but sometimes you will do better by letting someone discover the benefits on their own. During the next six to eight weeks you have the energy to push forward with a business venture or something that has tweaked your ambitions. Between midOctober and mid-November do not take on additional responsibilities as you will need to work hard enough to keep your head above water. In November you may be at your best in groups, so take advantage of an invitation to take a tour or to attend business meetings with fellow employees. The last half of January is a good time to make business decisions or take advantage of an opportunity. Make final, crucial decisions about your future, or launch key plans, in February, when your judgment is at its best.
