- — E! News

Just hours before her 35th birthday bash, Beyonce announced on her website that she has been forced to postpone her Wednesday concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., “as a result of strict doctor’s orders for vocal rest.”

The Grammy-winning singer’s “Soul Train”themed party Monday night attracted a star-studded crowd of revelers, including Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Carmelo Anthony, P. Diddy, Usher, Serena Williams and fellow Destiny’s Child alumni Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. The event was rocking until about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to sources.

On Sunday, Beyonce had celebrated her birthday with the likes of Bill Clinton and Chance the Rapper while attending husband Jay Z’s Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, where Clinton was promoting voter registration.

Wednesday’s show has been postponed until Oct. 7, and tickets for the original date will be honored for the rescheduled performance.

Beyonce’s “Formation World Tour” is to resume Saturday in St. Louis.
