Woman strangled in Northwest Baltimore

A woman was strangled early Thursday in the Dolfield neighborhood of Northwest Baltimore, police said. Shortly before 4 a.m., officers were called to a fight in the 3900 block of Dolfield Ave. The woman was found there and taken to a hospital, where she died. Police did not provide her name or age Thursday afternoon. At the scene, officers took into custody someone police called “a person of interest.” They did not provide additional information.
