Two ar­rested in con­nec­tion with Ca­tonsville shoot­ing

Bal­ti­more County po­lice an­nounced Fri­day they have ar­rested two men in the shoot­ing Sept. 27 of a 23-year-old man in Ca­tonsville. Marco Pa­trick Morra, 18, of Ca­tonsville and Ryan Matthew Young, 20, of Gwynn Oak were charged with at­tempted first-de­gree mur­der and re­lated charges, ac­cord­ing to po­lice. The vic­tim met Morra and Young at a wooded area near Geipe Road and North Rolling Road and was shot at least once in the up­per body, the po­lice said. Po­lice be­lieve the vic­tim was tar­geted but would not com­ment as to why be­cause the in­ci­dent re­mains un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion. There was no up­date on the vic­tim’s con­di­tion. Morra was ar­rested Sept. 28, while Young was ar­rested Sept. 30. They are be­ing held in the county jail. A pre­lim­i­nary hear­ing for Morra and Young is sched­uled for Oct. 28. Attorneys for the men could not be reached to com­ment.
