The ju­nior wide re­ceiver was in­stru­men­tal in the Pan­thers’ 34-20 come-from-be­hind win at then-No. 1 McDonogh on Friday, fin­ish­ing with 13 re­cep­tions for 210 yards and four touch­downs. Fields caught touchdown passes of 2, 23, 20 and12 yards from Isa­iah Robin­son as St. Frances scored 26 straight points. Fields and the Pan­thers were play­ing their first game with­out fel­low wide re­ceiver Tyree Henry, who suf­fered a spinal in­jury in an Oct. 7 game against Gil­man and is re­cov­er­ing at Kennedy Krieger In­sti­tute. The Pan­thers, who move from No. 6 to No. 2 in this week’s Top 15 poll, ded­i­cated the game to Henry. In his first var­sity sea­son at St. Frances, Fields has 40 catches for 615 yards and 10 touch­downs. The Pan­thers (7-1) are 3-0 atop the Mary­land In­ter­scholas­tic Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion A Con­fer­ence. Fields has re­ceived schol­ar­ship of­fers from Pitts­burgh, Vir­ginia Tech, Navy and Tem­ple, among oth­ers.
