The se­nior goalie, in her fourth var­sity sea­son, played flaw­lessly last week in three shutout wins for the No. 2 Cava­liers. Ne­me­cek’s high­light per­for­mance came in Thurs­day’s show­down against In­ter­scholas­tic Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion of Mary­land A Con­fer­ence ri­val Notre Dame Prep — a 1-0 win that fea­tured 12 saves. It also in­cluded a key stop on a penalty stroke as the Cava­liers (13-3) avenged an ear­lier loss against the Blaz­ers. On Oct. 11, Arch­bishop Spald­ing opened the week with a 3-0 win over fel­low IAAM op­po­nent Roland Park and it closed things out with a 3-0 win over Woot­ton. Ne­me­cek fin­ished with 19 saves in the three wins. Set to play at Wil­liam & Mary, Ne­me­cek has been a part of 10 shutouts this sea­son and has a .886 save per­cent­age.
